Limbo

I've been sick the last few days, unable to write nor play poker. Time to pimp other blogs. Check out my brother's blog: Poker in the Weeds. He finally updated his version of the infamous Boathouse Game.

Grubby has a write up (in 2 parts) about his trip to the Borgata and how he won a $500 pot from yours truly. He has assured me that he's been spending that money wisely! Amen.

Wil posted five parts of his Vegas adventure at the Mirage. Check it out.

Congrats to Felicia for winning second in a recent WPPA Stud event.

Unfortunately, The Poker Prof has been having some copyright problems with a certain poker publication that ripped off stuff from his blog. I hope you can get your due compensation!

If you don't know by now, Iggy organized another poker blogger/reader tournament, this time on Poker Stars on Thursday October 21st @ 9pm EST. I am going to play in this one (even though I have plans to be out of the city that week touring the Northeast with Galactic... I'm going to see if I can play from Narragansett, Rhode Island). I am not hiding behind any "secret names" this time. My screen name is pretty simple. I am already signed up! Of course, I will be conducting a Hilton Sisters Challenge during the contest. Stay tuned for more details.

Congrats SirFWalgman to who cracked AA with the Hilton Sisters last weekend, but missed the cutoff by a few hours. No prizes for you, kind sir, but at least you get your name blogged!! Better luck next time.

Asphnxma from Riding the F Train, a fellow regular at the Blue Parrot and Brooklyn's favroite poker player not named Ugarte... recently posted another write up of a NYC private poker room: Midtown West. By the way, if you wanna see a hilarious comic in NYC, check out Ugarte's upcoming stand up gigs.

Have any of you been reading Catching the Anti-Christ? Jason's been a long time reader of my blogs and he recently moved his poker posts to a separate poker blog.

HDouble has another stellar poker and film post: Ground Hog Day. Don't forget to see past gems like: Rushmore and The Big Lebowski.

Lastly, if you get the chance, visit A New York Escort's Confession. The author is Alexa and she recently wrote me asking for a link up. She's a fan of the Tao of Poker and she's been my favorite "sex worker" blogger these days!

If I feel a little better today, I might hop on Poker Stars to play an SNG or two. Let's go Jets!!
