A couple of weeks ago, I sat down with Change100 and we watched Rounders, like we usually do -- with lots of heavy smoking and snarky commentary because we've seen the movie too many times to count.

ReplyDeleteFunny thing about Rounders. After seeing now dozens of times, I have come to the conclusion that it's just not THAT great of a poker movie. However, it will always have a special spot in a lot of people's hearts, including my own. I grew up playing poker my whole life, but this move, coupled with the internet, and my age at the time (mid 20's) really thrust my love of poker to new levels. Of course, I'm still only slightly better than most of the players in Rounders, who are donkish at best.
