Serious business for serious players. Man...Bingo. Serious business for serious players. Many hardcore gamblers tried to break into the underground circuit only to creep back to their tables desperately clutching what remained of their souls.

Beware of the players that 'bring their own cards.'

When you see that you know the fix is in.

Never use a card with O69. Bad karma with that card.

All the good karma from that card was sucked away in the back room on a cot stained with bingo card ink and love juices.

Never again will I go back. Never again.waldonoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5690677.post-38599199830885774102010-11-22T15:38:52.250-05:002010-11-22T15:38:52.250-05:00God, I'll never forget the first time I saw th...God, I'll never forget the first time I saw the crazy bingo action at the Hollywood Park Casino. The poker room's crowd was just a speck of activity compared to the hardcore bingo people...the two things that stood out was the absolutely insanity over the free coffee and crappy snacks on the table outside the room - a less driven patron might get devoured like an extra in Dawn of the Dead. The other thing was how deadly serious these people were about their bingo - the Mandalay Bay sports book during March Madness has nothing on them!Tully Moxnesshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07574119156166435474noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5690677.post-63204199394357427322010-11-22T15:17:06.226-05:002010-11-22T15:17:06.226-05:00Hilarious. There is, of course, some exaggeration her but not a whole hell of a lot. Those ladies, and a few men, were as cut throat as they come.

I say were because while years ago one could find a bingo game in some church hall or rec center on any night of the week, sometimes 2 or more, now there is nary a game in the area on any night. The problem, legalization. The rules the state put in basically capped the prize money and the big jackpot games went the way of the dodo and without the potential for a big score all but the most diehard addicts gave it up. Instead of just licensing and possibly taxing it the beauracrats couldn't resit tinkering with a proven formula. Wound up killing it faster than any amount of anti laws could ever do. Just a word of caution for those holding high hopes for the legalization of online gaming.Wolfsheadhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02557657560134585950noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5690677.post-23964958464383933662010-11-22T07:59:54.492-05:002010-11-22T07:59:54.492-05:00And I suppose I should have clarified that "T...And I suppose I should have clarified that "The Elitists" I talk of are from both sides of the aisle. If Republicans had both houses of Congress and the Presidency, I don't think they would legalize poker either.Easycurehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17440383472592292038noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5690677.post-19409640194304871042010-11-22T07:57:54.275-05:002010-11-22T07:57:54.275-05:00It's a misnomer to think it's just "r...It's a misnomer to think it's just "religious right wingers" that don't want internet gambling. There is a little truth to it, but the bigger opponent group in general are what I would call "The Elitists". Obama, and the Democratic leaderships (which controlled both houses)could have slammed a bill through were it not for the NFL. Yeah, sure, Bill Frist jammed us with the UIGEA a few years back, but he did that in preparation for a soon-after failed Presidential run.

The fact is the political fat-cats want to play poker in smoky back rooms with each other and control the little people by banning them from playing it until their pockets can get lined properly. It's another sad indication of the present political climate that has preset in Washington DC for the last 10-15 years.

Since becoming Christian over the last couple of years, I can assure you that most Christians don't care about it and actually lean to it being a personal individual freedom that should be allowed wen asked. It's about power, not religious right wingers.Easycurehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17440383472592292038noreply@blogger.com
